Running out of Knees - Bring on the Bears

I'm sure you are all with me, when I say "thank you, Nate." That guy went through a lot to just stay on the team and contribute in anyway he could. It sucks a freak-accident on a field goal ended his career... but I guess that's sort of been the way his career has gone. I wish him the best of luck in whatever he does.

Now on to the other issues:

Brian Bennett should redshirt if he can. Hawkins can play in garbage time if needed. No point burning a redshirt to get "game experience" in garbage time. People say he can use his redshirt next year if needed, but that's not happening. He will be our #2 next year.

Cal Bears. I have been nervous for every away game, other than WSU, this season. This week is no different. But I think with our momentum, the lackluster start we had against UW (won't let that happen again), their back-up QB playing and the fact that we are the Ducks and most explosive team in the country, gives me a lot confidence.

I envision another classic Duck road game. Close at half and then the speed an pace wears them down and we pull a 24 point victory. 48 - 24.

Additional thoughts - LMJ gets 175 yards, 2 TDs. Cliff gets a TD. Huff leads the team in receiving.

Predictions? 

But before we win the game Saturday, we need to Win The Day, today.
